Scheduled Maintenance
Scheduled maintenance will be carried out so as to be minimally disruptive for our clients. Our objectives for maintenance are:
- Non service-affecting maintenance (e.g. rebooting one of the two redundant route servers):
- Will be carried out between 05:00 and 07:00 Wednesday mornings
- Will be logged to the Service Log upon completion
- Service-affecting maintenance (e.g. NX-OS upgrade of the switch fabric):
- Will be announced at least two weeks in advance to the tech email list
- Will be listed in the Service Log
- Will be carried out between 05:00 and 07:00 on a Wednesday morning
- Will be logged to the Service Log upon completion
Non-Scheduled Maintenance
Non-scheduled maintenance is usually the result of either equipment failure or a security incident. The incident maintenance:
- Will be addressed as quickly as we can
- Will be posted in updates to the tech email list if the incident is still service-affecting after two hours
- Will be logged to the Service Log upon completion
